Creative work competition’s exhibition in the World Tuberculosis Day

Creative work competition’s exhibition is one of the Society groups’ informing campaign “BREATH GREEN!” activities in the framework of the project „Let’s Open the World for Opportunities and Skills” (contract no. 2012.EEZ/PP/1/MAC/054/022) that is implemented by the Riga Latvian Society in cooperation with its partners – Creative association for youth TREPES, Strazdumuiţa Boarding School - development centre for the visually impaired and blind children and Latvian society in Norway. 
The aim of the competition is to express one’s opinion about healthy lifestyle with the help of the creative works, including as a topicality also green thinking, smoking dependence and strengthening of immunity. The competition took place from February 17 to March 14, 2014 and the places of the activities were Latvia and Norway. 
During the creation process of the works in 10 master classes together with a professional painter participated children and youth from the Samaritan Association of Latvia Groups’ apartment, Riga 18th Evening (shift) Secondary School, Riga 32nd Secondary School, society’s "Riga City Child of Care” Day Centre “House of Hopes” and Day Centre “Nest of Hopes”, Strazdumuiţa Boarding School, “Children Oasis” Ltd. Day Centre “Torňakalns”, Riga Social Service Day Centre “Cone”, Upeslejas Boarding School – Rehabilitation centre and Riga Children and Youth Centre’s department “Ilga”.
 On March 24 that is the World Tuberculosis Day, at 15.00 in the NGO House (Laimdotas Street 42) will be opened exhibition, where the best creative works will be exhibited to the wider audience. The most outstanding works will be included in the year’s 2015 calendar about healthy lifestyle.
