Discussions for the Riga Latvian Society members in 2014

Dear Riga Latvian Society members!

Riga Latvian Society implements the project „Stand hard, work bravely” in the programme of the European Economic Area’s Financial Mechanism for the period 2009 – 2014. The contract’s identification number:
2012.EEZ/DAP/MAC/068/1/NAC/054/2013.

The aim of this project is to provide stable and long-term Riga Latvian Society’s development and successful work in the promoting of the civil society, social justice and democratic processes in Latvia. Among them to start the output of the RLS strategy and planning with an aim to promote stable and united Society’s administration’s, members’ and employees’ vision in long-term organisation’s development.

In 2013 the series of discussions for the RLS strategy’s development were started.
Until now two discussions have been taken place:
                - about the RLS members and structure;
                - about the RLS work in Latvia.

In 2014 are planned 2 discussions.
On Tuesday, January 28 at 18.00 - the 3d discussion “Social capital’s strategy"

On February 12 - the 4th discussion “To clients’ oriented work’s strategy at the RLS”

                                         WE INVITE YOU TO DISCUSSIONS:

1. Social capital’s strategy
           - Retrospect to the first discussions’ results (presentation and main conclusions/decisions);
           - How the Society can use its potential fully. Social capital – informal social links and networks between society members. Social capital is characterized not only with the existence or inexistence of the social links and networks, but also with the level of the mutual trust and cooperation quality. 

2. To clients’ oriented work’s strategy at the RLS
           - Retrospect to the first discussions’ results (presentation and main conclusions/decisions);
           - To clients’ oriented activity’s problems and opportunities/ discussion;
           - SUMMARY about the prepared strategy project.
