The activities in the Ottawa Latvian School take place on Friday evenings from 18:00 till 20:30 in the Ottawa Latvians Evangelically Lutheran Parish premises.



In the Ottawa Latvian School activities participate families – children parents work as teachers. The activities are organised in one group. In the school children learn Latvian language, literature, history and geography. The activities end with the learning and singing of Latvian folk songs. The activities are in Latvian language. 

The school has also the MML group, where only some of the smallest children speak Latvian. The biggest part of the MML group children speak only English. The MML activities take place in both, Latvian language, where children learn songs and games, and in English language.
