Following the tradition with the starting of new year, the Riga Latvian Society Theatre Commission organises the reading –performance of Mārtiņš Zīverts’ play. This time we have chosen Zīverts’ play “Oil”, whose premiere was in 1931 after which it had been left without showing for many decades, but nowadays it has acquired the topicality again.
