Campaign “Breath GREEN!” ends!

On Thursday, 15th May will end the society’s informing campaign “Breath GREEN!” At two o’clock in the afternoon all participants and interested people are welcome to the campaign’s conclusion event that will take place in the Latvian Blind Society’s Strazdumuiža club in Riga, Pāles Street 14/3. The event will start actively and greenly with the clean of the surrounding environment. Later at 15.30 the concert will start and everybody will see the retrospect to the main activities in video materials and photos, after that testimonials will be given to the most active campaign’s participants and the afternoon will conclude with conversations over a cup of tea.

Discussions about opportunities to combine career, work and family life

On May 15 and 23, continuing the public discussions’ cycle organised by the Riga Latvian Society and resources’ centre MARTA, two topical discussions will take place about opportunities to combine work and family life, searching for the answers, how changes woman’s role and place in the family if the woman more and more focuses on her professional career.
